If there were more people in the room, would we not have better sense than this?

Would we not have done better by our citizens than this over time?

I surely hope that we would.

And if there were more people in the room, could we have some people who didn't go to Harvard?

And if there were more people in the room, could we have someone who was a public defender

instead of a judge?

Could we make more space for perspectives that have clearly been absent in our jurisprudence

for a very long time?
