45-year-old Amy, who had taught at the college since 2003, had finished teaching her morning classes and was attending the meeting before heading home.

As she sat next to the department chair, some of her coworkers noticed she seemed angry and brooding.

As the meeting drew to a close, Amy suddenly stood up, pulled a handgun out of her purse, and began to fire.

She started with those closest to her and went down the road, shooting her targets in the head, execution style.

Those not struck immediately dropped to the ground.

One professor threw her arms around Amy's legs and tried to reason with her, begging her to stop.

That woman considered herself a friend of Amy, but Amy took Amy and fired directly at her.

Fortunately, Amy's gun jammed, and the professor crawled past her out into the hallway.

Amy followed her, trying to fix the gun, and repeatedly squeezing the trigger. As soon as Amy was near the doorway, that professor shoved her into the hallway, allowing the others in the room to shut and lock the door, keeping Amy outside.

Six people were shot in less than a minute. Three of them were dead, and three were severely wounded.

Amy then went to the bathroom on the second floor and washed up, rinsing and throwing away the gun and her bloodstained blazer.
