Hello and welcome to the official Leeds United podcast with me, Matthew Lewis

and the one and only Michael Bridges.

How are you, mate?

Great to see it again, mate. Great to hear your voice. And finally, this season is underway.

We're off. We're off. That was a lot, wasn't it?

It certainly was. Do you know what it was? Obviously, having the interview with Charlie

Cresswell in the podcast, that was cracking, you know, he was very upbeat.

He was full of enthusiasm, getting ready for that first game.

And then we get to the first game of this season.

The players came out and they were putting on a performance with a possession.

And at half time, I had two no down because of two stupid chances.

And I'm thinking, hang on, what have I just seen here?

This is totally like Leeds United. I'm sitting with me, I'm sitting doing LUT TV and one of my mates,

Texans going, how can this be?

And I'm thinking, hang on, if there's anything positive to take out of it,

it's the chances we created, and they've got to come out and have the same kind of attitude.

And I think what they showed, Matt Matt was a load of resolve resilience yeah and the

fans getting behind them they've embraced it and the performances I mean I think it was 20 odd

shots to six of theirs but they had two on target we had some of like double figures the

final third entry is just insane and it is I know there's a lot of fans want to talk about the negatives and that.
