Last week, we had a little squeaking in the background of the puppies that our dog just had.

And if there's any background noise this week, it's going to be from the thunderstorm that's taking place right now.

So if there's the pitter-patter of rain, I've noticed that hail is falling as well.

I remember my first year of teaching seminary.

The seminary was being remodeled.

And so they kicked us out into a nearby chapel.

And as low man on the totem pole, student teaching, they put me on the stage, which was fine.

But I had a special needs student that was just so much fun, just a great young man.

But he loved to play with the stage lights.

And in the middle of class, all of a sudden things would go dark and all the red lights would turn on.
