Robbie Martin discusses the long memory-holed 2001 anthrax attacks on the 20th anniversary of the first murder, the death of American Media Inc employee Robert Stevens in Boca Raton, Florida (which took place on October 5th, 2001). 4 more would eventually die from inhalation anthrax after envelopes were sent through the US postal service containing terroristic letters attempting to appear Islamic ( 'ALLAH IS GREAT' ) & high-grade weaponized anthrax spores. 1:16.3	anthrax rabbit hole, the 2001 anthrax attacks, the Amerithrax rabbit hole.
1:26.4	It's something that I've been looking at for over 10 years now, maybe even
1:31.8	longer than that. I started by making a pretty, in retrospect, kind of amateur documentary,
1:39.3	a 40-minute long, somewhere in between a short film and a full-length film documentary about the subject
1:45.1	called American Anthrax, sort of picking through the different narratives, which I thought
1:49.6	poked the most interesting holes in the FBI's investigation of the attacks.

1:59.6	I linked up with other researchers who had done their own research
2:04.0	on the subject that was way deeper than what I was doing at the time. I was mostly pulling from
2:09.8	media clips, sort of creating a, you know, what I thought was a compelling narrative to go against
