Benjamin Franklin famously said they who would give up an essential liberty for temporary

security deserve neither liberty or security.

What does that say about the American people who are giving up their rights just because someone said so?

Hello there, everyday Americans. Paul Engel here with the Constitution study where we read and study

You know, this has become a recurring thing. I don't know if it's because I've got a speech on this coming up shortly or just the day.

But the number of times I see people that are just willing to give up their rights because someone said so and then claim, well, they were taken from me.

No, no.

Way too often, we simply give up our rights because we're unwilling to fight for them.

We're only to stand for them.

We're unwilling to be uncomfortable to protect our rights.

We are willing to trade our rights for a promise of some temporary safety.

Nowadays, not even of life and limb, just of heckling. And it really shows that it makes you wonder,

do the American people deserve liberty or safety anymore? Take, for example, there's a protest outside of the Yorba Linda California High School.

It was done by the California Family Council, and they were protesting a dude participating in the

girls' long jump, high jump, and triple jump events at the school.

Now listen, if you're a dude that wants to dress up like a girl, well, hey, I think that's a

mental disorder. But legally, I think you're crazy, but okay, but we're not talking about

dressing up. We're talking about pretending you're a girl to participate in sports.

Now, this came about because the California Interscholactic Federation, their bylaws state that students may participate in school athletics consistent with their gender identity.

In other words, girls' sports are no longer girls' sports.
