Before that, he spent five and a half years with US Soccer, where he became the director

of sporting analytics.

I asked to talk about here, because it's only been a few months since you went to Monaco,

and you actually were on a panel with me that I moderated up at the Sloan Conference,

analytics conference up in Boston a while back, and I really enjoyed it.

I learned a lot about what it is that you do and your colleagues even more.

But at the time, I wouldn't have necessarily predicted you would go to Monaco, so why

did you decide to join AS Monaco?
