Overall, trust in the media has hit a record low.

Just 28% of Americans say they have a great deal or a fair amount of trust in newspapers, TV, and radio.

We'll tell you the truth. We'll tell you like it is. You can trust us.

That is down from 31% in 2023 and 40% in 2019. So this marks the first time that confidence has dropped

below 30%. Now this is this is Gallup. It is. It's the lowest since Gallup has been tracking this ever.

Now, what's fascinating to me, so like they go far back, like basically what,

19702, and in 1972, this is fascinating to me, the media was had a trust rate of like 72%.

Correct.

Look, I hate to break this to you.

Yeah.

But the media, they're human beings.

They've always, they always, it's a human inclination to have a slant one way or another,

even if you're trying your hardest to be fair.

Now, there are people like see the George W. Bush National Guard story that just

blatantly make up stuff and that gets exposed.

But I think the biggest issue is that there's less and less of a delineation between

opinion and hard news.

And they've sort of morphed into one thing.

So like if you come to this show, we are not unbiased.
