Sarah Palin is squaring off against the New York Times starting today as the defamation trial

now moves forward, which is a huge victory to even get this before a jury.

It centers on the case in 2008 and the federal lawsuit is a 2017 New York Times editorial

that incorrectly linked Governor Palin to the 2011 mass shooting in Arizona,

which six people were killed and more than a dozen injured.

That included Congresswoman Gabby Giffords.

Now project Veritas, James O'Keefe's group also has had numerous wins on this front.

And what's that issue here goes down to the 1964 Supreme Court landmark decision,

where you actually have to prove malice if you're talking about a public figure.

And it's going to be interesting to see how this works out.

Now I don't think it's the best venue for any conservative, but James O'Keefe had a very successful court ruling in his favor.
