executive and her husband were gunned down in their own home.

Friends of Robin Kay and her husband, Thomas DeLuca, called for a welfare check Monday afternoon,

having not heard from them in days. Officers entered the home and found the couple dead with gunshot wounds.

Days earlier, on July 10th, police were called to the home after a neighbor saw somebody jumping the

couple's fence. Officers say they couldn't enter the property, so they flew a chopper and saw no signs of forced entry at the time.

But now, police say 22-year-old Raymond Buderian was burglarizing the home that day.

And when the couple came home, they confronted him, and he allegedly killed them.

Buderian was previously arrested last year, charged with battery and other crimes, but the

charges were dropped when a judge said he was not competent to stand trial.

Kay was an award-winning music supervisor who worked on American Idol for at least 15 seasons.
