I wanted to share my own personal Tony Curtis story.

I was working at the Home Shopping Network when Tony Curtis made an appearance at the network to sell reproductions of his paintings.

I was a stage manager at a scientific show.

During the show, I was moving a preview monitor into place for the host of the show.

As I finished, I slipped on a camera cable and fell flat on my back.

Tony Curtis, his mic still hot, walks off the set of the live broadcast and helps me back to my feet, making sure I was okay.

He gave me a big pat on the back and that bright Hollywood smile.

Then headed back to the show to sell more of his paintings to America.
