All right, hello, good people. Today is Tuesday, January the 6th. And yeah, that date should

feel kind of familiar to you because January 6th is the day that we acknowledge that white

nationalists ain't never went nowhere and they are still trying to take over the country as

bloodily and as bloodlustily as they always have. You all may recall where you were when January

the 6th was taking place. I think that was actually the first year of this show in 2021. And that might have been like my first or second day.

And I actually wasn't even on the show yet. And when I'm talking about the show, obviously not

talking about the podcast. I'm talking about the Lurie Daniel Favor show in Sirius XM.

That week, or those first two weeks of that January,

I was actually auditioning to be a host with my own show on Sirius XM.

So when that day took off January the 6th, it was one of those pivotal moments that I will

simply never forget.

And it was a time where we were reminded that the white Christian nationalist ride again.

The Ku Klux Klan never stopped riding, nor did the rest of the white supremacists who are in charge of the country.

So I just want to acknowledge that it was an absolutely horrific situation.

And what was even worse is that the people in leadership in the weeks, months, and years after,

kind of did what people did at the end of the Civil War,

as opposed to preventing the white nationalist Confederate traders who had destroyed the country,

who had separated from the country. The union at the time at the end of the Civil War had

the legal authority and should have refused to allow those southern states to come back in

unless they punish the traitors, unless they punish the members of the Confederacy. The white nationalists in the north, however, didn't do that. And so the white nationalists in the South got to come back in and basically resume power. And we saw much the same sort of approach when it came to how to address what happened on January the 6th. So I guess the more things change, the more they don't. Yeah, something like that. Anyway, let's get into today's news. And as a reminder, because we're still unfortunately focused on Venezuela today. Not unfortunately because there's something wrong with Venezuela, other than the fact that they have been recently invaded by this country and had their president kidnapped, but because there are so many other things that we should be talking about.
