Rudy Giuliani, once known as "America's Mayor," has had quite the downfall. This week, he released a commercial promoting his line of coffee. It comes as he is in the middle of bankruptcy and pleads not guilty to trying to overturn the 2020 election in Arizona. But his downfall is symbolic for American Democracy. At the turn of the millennium, then-President Clinton spoke of hope for a new generation of Americans. Instead, America democracy is being strangled by indifference and denialism.
