Good morning. It is Saturday, July the 12th. A roiling fight among top Trump officials has some maga faithful calling for the ouster of the attorney general, while the deputy director of the FBI didn't show up to work on Friday and is, quote, out of control furious and considering

resigning, according to MSNBC sources. This is a still unfolding story of a rare Trump administration

scandal that actually threatens to move the loyal MAGA base. I'll be joined a little later in the show

blocked the Trump administration from carrying out indiscriminate ice sweeps in the Los Angeles area.

In her order, the district court judge wrote that roving patrols without reasonable suspicion

violate the Fourth Amendment and denying detainees access to lawyers violates the Fifth Amendment.

The judge added that there's a mountain of evidence that ICE agents have been arresting people

based solely on race, accent, or the work they're doing, directly violating constitutional principles.

Yet, she wrote, quote, the federal government would have this court believe in the face of a mountain of evidence presented in the case that none of this is actually happening, end quote.

The ruling came just hours after President Trump's border czar, Tom Homan, told Fox News that ICE

officers don't need probable cause to question or detain civilians.

They can do it, quote, based on their physical appearance, end quote.

Which, if you know even the basics of American law, you know is very, very wrong.

And if the so-called border czar doesn't know that or worse doesn't care about that, we're in very big trouble.
