It's about 6 p.m. here in New York. And I basically just got off this prayer call about 25 minutes ago. And it was quite a charged time in the presence of the Lord. This was supposed to be a time just of praising God. So to those of you who may not understand the importance of praise and prayer, praise is a completely separate type of prayer that you can do without asking God for anything.
0:44.3	This is where you come before the Lord to give him thanks.
0:47.1	This is where you come before the Lord to lift him up.
0:49.5	You come before the Lord to bless him.
0:53.6	You've come to celebrate who he is.
0:55.7	This is where you go to places like Psalm 100, Psalm 103, Psalm 104, and you're remembering
1:01.6	the magnificence of God, his creating gifts, his supernatural power, the way he opens doors
1:08.0	for those that he calls his children.
1:11.5	Praise is an essential part of a Christian's life because praise can actually function as a whole separate protection for a believer.
