And as many of you know, Michael is a longtime contributor and author here on America Out Loud.

I invited him today to discuss two of his articles and wanted to thank him first for taking the time out of his schedule to be with me today. Mike, thanks for doing.

Always a pleasure to be on your show, Mayor Depp. Good. Yeah, and so I'm going to jump right

into it. The first article that I want to talk about is titled Plumbing is Rocket Science. And you get

into the Apollo 13 Moon mission, Artemis II's mission,

and Jimmy Kimmel. So tell us, you know, how does that relate to politics and why did you

write this article? Well, of course, the title is a play on words

where somebody will say, doing such and such is not rocket science, meaning it's really simple.

Well, it's what we found out with this Artemis rocket, that the big threat to the mission was the toilet got clogged up.

So plumbing, as it turns out, is rocket science.

The engineers at Houston had to radio up step-by-step instructions to astronaut Christina Koch

to how to disassemble the toilet and reassemble it and get it working again.

And so it turns out that plumbing is rocket science, at least on the spacecraft.

So it annoyed me when Jimmy Kimmel made a put-down of the recent nominee to take over Homeland Security, Mr. Mullen, and said his previous background

included that he owned and operated a plumbing company and said, oh, plumbers, they're not,
