Today we'll be joined by Brian Kennedy, president of the American Strategy Group.

He's also the chairman of the committee, and the president danger in China.

Brian, I know you have hopes for the new chairman of the subcommittee on China, Mike Gallagher.

We just had the opportunity to speak with him, and I'd like to pick up on some of the points

that he was making and yet your perspective.

We concluded by my asking what was more important, more consequential, the failure to build

up militarily for the threat of China, for the failure to convince the American people,

the threat to China constitutes.

And as a soft opinion, many Americans have of China, and various things that are going

on in America and universities and elsewhere.

What's our bigger problem, the hard military one, the kinetic one, or the public opinion

one?

Well, it would certainly be all of the above, I think.

Americans look, we're the kind of people who don't want to blame other people in other

countries when their government does something evil.

So we look at all these college students from China here in this country, and we don't

look at them.
