When the Scripture says that we are free, it echoes our nation's birthing documents.

When it says we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.

What a statement.

That's treasonous to most countries at the time.

And they were endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights.

Jefferson is announcing that everyone including the king and the king of any realm is subject

to a greater king.

That God has made all men equal.

Listen, we don't get this in America because we're spoiled rotten.

We understand that we're all equal.
