Well, hello, my friends. It has been such a long time since I've done an episode of rapid fire that the U.S. government officially ended our national emergency over COVID-19.

Yes, this happened last week, and I have been gone for two long weeks. I apologize. We haven't done the show. I have been traveling all across

the country from the west coast to the east reporting on the Trump indictment. Everything going on

in Washington, D.C. I've been working on a couple projects. So I apologize that I have been gone.

But again, I've been gone so long that the United States government finally said that COVID is over

while I was, again, not in action here doing the live streams.

I didn't even know that we were still in a national emergency for COVID-19 because, to be quite honest with you,

what's COVID? Is this still a relevant thing? Apparently so. I saw this last week and you guys

know I've been keeping up with the news for you while I have been away. So I just thought that that

was absolutely hilarious. Now my friends, I am not going to lie to you. The state of the United

States has just been not my favorite.

I've been a little bit blackpilled over the past two weeks, but I've still been keeping

up with all of the news cycle from the Trump indictment to Riley Gaines getting attacked by

trans people here in San Francisco to Billboard Chris being attacked by trans people in Canada,

to all of the insanity going on in Chicago with lawless America and everything that has been

happening. So we're going to try to keep it as light as possible today while still simultaneously

delivering to you the absolute chaos in the United States of America.

And, you know, I haven't talked to you guys in two weeks.

So I wanted to start off the show with one of my favorite pieces, okay, from Thomas Payne.
