I thought the country was better than this in some kind of fairly profound way,

and beyond my fear of the concrete consequences, it's disturbed to me. It makes me sad. It's like

You know, we talk about other things too. The news cycle got onto some other stuff, but today I

think we wanted to come back to coronavirus because the virus is not gone, and in some ways it's

making it come back, and it's kind of alarming. More more good news on the weeds, man.

So there is disagreement over whether or not to call this a second wave or the continuation of

a first wave in parts of the country. It is like the beginning of the first wave, but it really,

we did not stop coronavirus. We did not suppress it. We did not have a huge fall in cases nationwide.

And meanwhile, both in ways that are statutory of states that have been opening up in ways that are

informal, like protests, but also even more informal than protests. We know that ridership on
