Our fathers brought forth upon this continent a new nation conceived in liberty and dedicated

to the proposition that all men are created equal.

It's hard to do that sometimes when you see what the left is trying to do to subvert this nation.

Last night, the New York Times published what they call a video opinion piece.

I have the whole text in front of me and I'll share with you some parts of it, but just listen to the conclusion.

And remember, they published this the day before we begin preparations for the most important celebration of our nation.

Cut one.

It's so caught up in the rhetoric about America being the greatest country on earth, but we've long ignored the cracks in our system.

And while a bit of patriotism is great, jingleism is dangerous, especially when it's built on older fake news.

So as we gear up for another election season where politicians tell us America is great, or that it isn't, and then proceed to make it worse, let's try a more truthful approach.

America may once have been the greatest, but today America, we're just okay.
