Thank you indeed if you missed it you must watch it I think it was really good even if I say so myself we are posting the whole hour on our YouTube channel you can see it on Instagram TV later tonight and of course Facebook is posting us live I'm Sebastian Gorker former strategist of President Donald J Trump and it's time it's time for that update from the West Coast with a warrior princess war correspondent she's Jennifer Horn host of the morning answer in the general dawn show and

1:30.0

I'm 590 am 870 the answer also with C R N talk dot com Jennifer yes sir I am well I like that I am hearing I am hearing things on the grapevine the jungle drums are beating that California is had enough there is resistance there are protests are we going to see a certain sparkly lady with a sparkly mask in the middle of those resistance movements.

1:58.0

I have to tell you I am so excited to be in California right now said because guess what people are actually fighting back they're tired of staying at home they are getting out to the street and whether it's in San Diego whether it's in Huntington Beach whether it's in Northern California they are coming out and they are protesting and I think it's fantastic I think because I'm the maybe the daughter of a hippie my mom big hippie during the 70s I didn't know that you kept that secret oh her hair will not part any any other way except right down the middle of the street.

2:28.0

She's a ironed that way so she loved a good protest and I love a good protest especially when they're actually protesting getting back to work and getting back to usual here in California despite Gavin Newsom's kind of lackluster plan for getting us reopened over the next several months.

2:45.0

So the last time we spoke you're with us every single week you said that week you said on on you know Tuesday or Wednesday he promised his plan and then on Friday the plan was you know not detailed it was a non event has anything happened since then has has Nancy Pelosi's nephew given you any concrete details because I'm here I talk to my buddies I'm on your show with Brian every Tuesday.

3:15.0

It sounds as if California is just going back to work anyway a lot of Californians are trying to go back to work and I'll tell you we'll talk about Gavin Newsom in a second because he did roll out some more details he has now a four phase plan that goes along with his six phase plan that he introduced a couple of weeks ago but there are a couple of businesses who are getting national attention one is called lather salon it's in Corona and it's run by this woman who said she and her stylist could not afford to stay out of work.

3:45.0

So they're not working any longer and so they reopen despite the safer at home orders and particularly for the service industry like these salon workers they're not able to apply for unemployment at least they weren't at the time I think yesterday was the first day that salon workers could actually get unemployment benefits they don't qualify for SBA loans because they're independent and so they're struggling there are tons thousands hundreds of thousands of people who are out of work in the state of California because they can't go and cut some more

4:15.0

people's hair they can't go and do whatever service they would offer at that salon so this this place in Corona love this woman opened up lather salon and she's been visited by Riverside PD several times but she's what happened what happened she said try to shut me down and she'll take it to the courts and then there was another business she just said bring it bring it that's exactly what she said she said you know what if you want to shut me down I'll take it to court and there's another business in Montrose which is a really cute community

4:44.9

at near where I live in the San Fernando Valley it's got a cute main street and there's an establishment there called the wine cave this guy also says he can't afford to pay rent anymore because he's been shut down for almost seven weeks and he was going to reopen this coming Friday

5:00.9

now California heard about it because he appeared on Fox News our local Fox affiliate and apparently ATF in the state of California paid him a visit and said they'd pull his liquor license if he continued to open so he's he's kind of making news there are several others who have filed a lawsuit with Mark Garagos who is a celebrity attorney that these small businesses are suing California for not allowing them to work so people are getting back slowly but certainly the desire is there

5:29.9

by almost everybody I know in my social circle that want to get back out and start working again.

5:35.9

The Bureau of alcohol tobacco and firearms.

5:39.9

Got a love of who's bringing the chips that's all I'm saying.

5:42.9

So what is your prediction you're right there you're in the thick of it you're going to work your broadcasting every single day.

5:51.9

How long is it going to take for a significant number of Californians to take that bring it attitude of that salon salon owner and just go out on mass reopen their companies and just say to Gavin you some okay bring it.

6:13.9

Yeah I think this is actually it may end up being a good thing for the conservative movement in California because I think a lot of the people who were seeing that want to get back to work are part of the independent party that is so large in California many of them I think are starting to side with conservative saying okay enough is enough let's start to weigh the risk against the reward should we get back to work and try to make this happen I think they're starting to align with Republicans because.

6:39.9

Democrats in the state the progressive movement they seem to be enjoying staying at home and getting their stimulus check there are survey after survey that I see when they survey Democrats in the state of California that say that the reopen order should continue on for at least another two months and I don't know who those people are that are happy and satisfied staying indoors all day long and not even being able to go to beaches to parks to get outside and get some sun it's really crazy but if I could predict judging by what Gavin Newsom said this week is.

7:08.9

Four phases essentially were in phase one which is uping testing it's about getting supplies in order staying at home phase two will bring back some of those non essential businesses that can open safely manufacturing some retail that can do curbside then months away and this is the kicker is stage three and that would be when churches can come back to work that's when the salons can reopen again sporting events without fans of course could reopen and then stage four would be a broad reopening.
