Do you know who's running the US military right now? I think it's Joy Reid. How do I know that?

and they come and attack us, it's going to be because we destroyed the planet. That'll be our punishment,

right? Okay, so the environment is the priority and aliens could destroy us if we don't respect

the environment. I think Joy Reid's been giving talking points to our latest Secretary of Defense.

This is serious. So this is a fresh statement by Secretary of Defense Lloyd E.J. Austin III,

who by rights shouldn't be in that position because he retired from the military less than six

years ago, which is against statute, and he had to be given an exemption, which we will find with.

The GOP voted almost overwhelmingly to confirm Biden's appointment of Austin to the position.

Let me just check. I have it right in front of me. General Austin was approved

93 votes to two. Oh my gosh, only Josh Hawley and Senator Mike Lee. Oh my gosh, with a two no votes.

And this is what the GOP has given you along with the Democrats because the title of the new

Secretary of Defense's memo, it's actually a statement, is the following.

Tackling the climate crisis at home and abroad. Yes, the country with the largest

military capabilities with nuclear weapons is now back to fighting the climate.

Just as I explained to you on a prior program, when I was asked to run an exercise with

kernels and half bird kernels from the Obama administration, they, to half of the cohorts in that

exercise said that the climate was our biggest enemy. Well, here's the new Secretary of Defense.
