Today I want to talk about a tweet that I recently posted and titled, I'll read it

exactly so we get it right. Here we go. America first, Americans last question mark.

Do all muscular, dominant, foreign foreign and domestic policies translate into a

betterment for the citizenry as I woke this morning another great morning here in

the San Francisco Bay area which I guess I kind of like I I can't take the heat. I lay in bed sometimes

at dawn. And before I get out of bed, I kind of run through the thoughts of the day, personal,

political, and others. And some of them I dismiss as just morning mucus, mental mucus.

Some, I think, are worthy of discussion.

And so I have a little pad next to my bed.

And I wrote this down.

I learned this technique a long time ago, for those of you want to know how I was able to write 30 books,

earn a PhD to master's degrees, creative business, have a family, and still be alive at 84 with,

let's say, a genetic inheritance that was not the finest in terms of longevity.

I learned to write the ideas down next to my bed, but someone just wrote something interesting.

They said, dismissing thoughts is a skill.

That's right.

Which thoughts do we dismiss?

Which thoughts do we save?

I'll save that discussion for another time.

But this is the thought for this morning.
