Summary

America is at a crossroad. There is a real possibility that we will cease to have democracy in the United States. As Rothkopf says, “Republicans don’t just want to repeat the “Big Lie”, they want to repeat the ability to do what Trump WANTED to do and disenfranchise the American people.” Holding Trump accountable is essential, but almost more important, is defeating anyone who would undermine the integrity of our elections for their own power. We have to recognize that the majority of the country doesn’t believe this “noxious right wing cocktail of lies” but it’s up to us to make sure those who do, aren’t the ones making the decisions.
