landmark week in Ambridge. A newspaper arrived, which was passed house to house. And all of a sudden,

to their horror, they caught on to the fact that not only was there a war in the Ukraine, but they

were also about to be clobbered with inheritance tax. Not a dicky bird up until now. And then all

of a sudden, everyone was shouting their heads off about it in the pub.

Very strange opener to the week,

which consisted of Fallon telling Clary she hadn't got the job,

but she might have done had Clary put the country dancing skills

she acquired as a small girl on her CV.

Presumably, along with her guide badges and her ability to swim to the bottom of a swimming

pool in pyjamas and rescue a brick.

Lizzie and Eddie had a bit of a bond over children in prison.

Lizzie said she was continually surprised when she visited Freddie in prison that he couldn't

leave when she did.
