Amber Karnes, creator of Body Positive Yoga, joins J for a talk about making the ends meet as teachers in the new landscape. They are both in the midst of moving and navigating the ways they can make a living and, after canceling a number of times, they jump into a conversation despite not feeling all that up to it. Fortunately, coming together on the challenges they are facing is a welcome release and serves to reaffirm their resolve. They also discuss the origins of Body Positive Yoga and the Yoga for All Training she does with Dianne Bondy.

1:14.3 | I have to, because it's what happened today. It's why I'm in a foul mood. Okay, here's why I'm in a |
1:19.8 | foul mood. Facebook. I'm so annoyed that that's why I'm in a foul mood, but it is. You see, |
1:27.3 | I woke up this morning and I was blocked |
1:30.1 | from my Facebook account because I had the word yoga in my name. And it's been like that forever, |
1:39.2 | for years and years and years, because there's a million Jay Browns on Facebook. So I always put |
1:47.9 | Jay Brown Yoga because I'm the Jay Brown who's into yoga. That's why. Well, apparently, |
1:53.2 | you're not allowed to do that. I didn't really know. I suppose I might have looked at the whatever |
1:58.6 | agreements or whatever, but they blocked me and they said, |
2:02.4 | if this is your name, send us an ID proving it. |
2:07.3 | So I did that. |
2:08.1 | I submitted a copy of my driver's license, but who knows, man? |
2:11.8 | It's not like you can call somebody on Facebook. |
2:15.2 | Who knows if they're going to get back to me or not? |
2:17.2 | But in the meantime, I'm out. |
