Hello everyone and welcome to police off the cuff, real crime stories.

I'm your host, retired NYPD Sergeant Bill Cannon, the 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

Today we have a case that's from Livingston, Texas, which is outside of Houston,

which is unfortunately a missing case.

And there's the little girl there.

And she's been missing since Thursday, which would have been February 15th at 0.6.30 or 6.30 a.m. in the morning Livingston, Texas time.

So this is going on the sixth day. And it's And these are such tragic, tragic cases.

And when we look into this case, it's no less tragic because they already have a person of interest in this case.

And here's the individual on the screen.

And his name is Don Stephen McDougal.

And apparently he had been living in a trailer behind the home of Audrey Cunningham's family,

a friend of her father's, of Audrey's fathers.

And this individual Don Stephen McDougal has an extensive criminal history.

And currently, he's in jail on an unrelated charge, so they're holding him there.

And initially, he was cooperative, and then apparently, you know, he clamped up.

But perhaps they had enough evidence to direct them to a location inside Livingston State Park, which is apparently near the child's residence. As on the missing flyer here, she's age 11, 4 foot 1 inches tall, 75 pounds, blonde hair, blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a red Hello Kitty bag with her.

So I believe they found that bag also. I mean, this is just as tragic as it gets.

And when we read, there's an organization called Equusurch, which is a nonprofit that is an amazing

organization that searches for missing people,

mostly missing children, but they'll also search for adults.

And they have on their website that missing Audrey Cunningham, 11-year-old Audrey Cunningham was last seen at approximately,
