So here's a major decision by the Supreme Court.

There's been talk about this for years.

The online retailers like Amazon and all that stuff don't charge tax.

It's one reason you get the stuff cheaper on Amazon.

The Supreme Court has now ruled that they have to collect sales tax. The reason

they got away with it under the existing law, if you didn't have a physical store in the area,

you didn't have to pay tax. So Supreme Court has ruled, doesn't matter, even if you're not

physically in the area with the store

states can demand that you collect tax from any sale in the state it's a smart

decision by the Supreme Court why would you say that oh here's mr.

cheap skate you were every other online shopper you've got to charge tax. No, you don't.

All right, here's a couple of reasons.

One, the retail business is getting wiped out.

All the stores are getting wiped out.

One reason is it's a little cheaper online.

That's because Amazon doesn't have to charge tax.

So it's unfair advantage competition-wise.

Now, here's the other reason. Every town is getting wiped out because the stores are closing. You go to your town, any town, Main Street.
