this from Jerry Seinfeld's Instagram of all things, that Rob Reiner was a big part of the reason that Seinfeld got

and stayed on the air. So his company, Castle Rock, that's his production studio, Castle Rock

Entertainment, developed the show and sold it to NBC, and they were really protective of the concept.

And the network is pressuring Castle Rock, Rob Reiner.

This show is so bizarre.

This makes no sense.

And he personally went into NBC.

The network was considering canceling Seinfeld after the second season.

And he went in and said, no, no, no, you've got to give it time.
