Hello and welcome to the Thursday February 7th 2019 edition of Tesla Daily on

0:12.0

official Tesla Podcast. My name is Rob

0:14.3

Maower just catching up on a few quick news items today. First off, I do

0:17.8

apologize for yesterday's episode cutting in and out. I'm not sure

0:21.6

what caused that and unfortunately I couldn't salvage the audio but hopefully what I was saying still made some sense regardless it wasn't cutting the whole time, but I am sorry for that.

Self- Driving Car Project that eventually became Weimo.

1:18.4

Tesla sued and then settled with Sterling Anderson for poaching employees and stealing documents from Tesla.

1:24.8

So nowadays Aurora is working on both hardware and software solutions for autonomous driving

1:29.6

with the intent of becoming a supplier to OEMs of that hardware and software.

1:34.0

The investment today which valued Aurora around $2 billion included Amazon but also

1:39.2

Sequoia, V.C. firm, and investments from Tiro Price and the investment arm of Shell.

1:45.6

It is interesting that Amazon has kind of finally made a move with self-driving technology

1:50.1

because it's obviously going to have a huge impact on their business.
