Hey everyone, Jessica Elise here with our We Know Amazing Race Exit interview for season 38, episode 3.

Just me this week. Rob's here in New York. He had a conflict, but he'll be back next week. In the meantime, I will be talking to Megan and Matt, who were eliminated in the field

last night after a very rough start to the race, and I'll do bad directions. I know I'm not the

only person out there who would have absolutely loved to see them be the bottom G. Dot Audices

of the season, hang out in the back of the pack for many more legs to come, but alas, it was not to be. I see we've got them on the line now, so let's go ahead and bring them in. Matt and Megan, hi. I am so sad to see you guys go out so early because it seemed like you were really starting to get the hang of things. I couldn't agree more. I know. It sucks that we were out so early. And I feel like at the

beginning, we were definitely struggling. And we were definitely trying to keep up a little bit there.

But yeah, it... There's a certain art form to just like surviving as the last team to not be out

every single time. And I really do think that we were mastering that.

And it only came to a fall once we got bad directions when we needed the right directions.

But nevertheless, every day or every leg, we truly were getting better.

Yeah, it definitely showed.

I want to know about the directions, though though because it looked like you might have been

hours behind by the time everything wrapped up. What exactly went wrong there? Well, I think

just starting in last place as well was kind of difficult because you're kind of starting in

the last bit of the pack. And if you're not getting the directions right or the turns right,

like the first time in a row, I feel like you can kind of slip up and slip up again and slip up again. And it could be kind of a slippery slope. So I feel like that's kind of what happened there in the Czech Republic. Yeah, like to see the pack in the front of the team like racing around like, oh God, we need to get this done.
