Thank you for filling in as I was then in transit after my trip to New York last week, but excited to talk about this leg of the race and this fun group.

Okay, this was all an episode where we talked a lot about like this is like old school amazing race. Was it feeling old school for you?

Yeah, I felt like I had suddenly time traveled and like I felt like we were it was like 2006 again. And you know, I was the only thing that makes this feel like it's not 2006 is the fact that I can.

If I get six hours of sleep and then I try to watch the amazing race, I have no idea what happens. So that's the main difference here, but honestly, what with the airport drama, the going to a travel agency to book your flight like you're a caveman.

Yeah. The whole all of a sudden there's a flight that nobody knew about that's going to get a bunch of teams in there in first place.

That's like shades of Sherlock and Mierna from all stars. I was I was pretty pumped to see that and it's such a it can be such a drag if you have that.

If you have that airport drama breakdown every week, but when it comes back as a surprise and you haven't seen it for a long time, it's it's really cool to have.

Okay, so that it was the charter for the last couple of seasons prior to that, but before that, what was the system?

Amazing race, just booked a bunch of flights and then there were and and why did they change that, Mike?

Why did they change it back?

Well, why did they change it in the first place and why change it back to not even what it was pre-COVID?

Oh, because they don't trust these teams to book their own flights back in the day because teams would book flights that were six, eight hours behind everything else.
