I'd like to ask you to turn to two passages of scripture begin with Roman six.

We'll start in Roman six. We'll actually then read some in Roman seven,

but the other passage if you want to put a marker there would be Galatians 3.

So we're going to be in Romans 6 and 7 and then in Galatians 3.

And we're in a series called Amazing Grace.

it's because by grace, we become married to Christ.

But a lot of people don't realize is,

according to scripture, you were married before.

And it wasn't to Satan, by the way, it may have felt like Satan, but it wasn't Satan.

You were married to the law. That's what the Bible says. So I'm going to show you that

scripture exactly and you need to understand the law is not bad. The law is not

bad. God gave the law. But there are appropriate uses of the law in a
