Well, sir, they've been reciting Sura Bekrara recently and there's a verse that came to mind,

The truth is from your Lord, so do not be from those who doubt.

And I was just wondering, what reflections do you have on this particular

on what the nature of doubt is and what Allah's

said Allah's Father is teaching us about doubt.

Why would he tell his prophet not to doubt, right?

Right, yeah.

There's a similar aya to this in Sotagli Imran,

so it probably makes sense to compare the two of these to figure out what's going on here. Let me read them off to you so you appreciate what's going on here.

Al-Hu-Mar-Rabic, the truth comes from your master.

Fala t'un'n'n'm-mintraean, don't you dare become among those who fall into doubt.

The other, al-haku-mer-Rabik, the truth comes from your master,

so not to come from those who fall into doubt.

So one says, don't you dare fall into doubt.

And the other says, don't fall into doubt.

Seems like in one there's a higher likelihood of doubt.

There's a greater threat of doubt.

And so the prophet is being told, don't you dare fall into doubt?

By the way, let me talk to you a little bit about the word doubt here. The Quran uses Raib for doubt, Shack for doubt, Mirya for doubt, okay? Marj for doubt. So we're going to use the word

Mirya here because the word is Mimterin in the Ayah. Let me explain what that particular word means.
