So what sometimes I think about like concepts in the Arabic language that of course aren't

all other languages that we easily pass over like the active versus the passive verb, right?

And instead of taking people into a third grade English class, just simply speaking,

if I were to say I made a mistake, right?

Yeah.

I'm open about me having made a mistake.

But if I said the same thing another way and I said, a mistake was made.

And I don't even add the by me, I just say a mistake was made.

The statement is still true, except I refuse to attribute it directly to myself.

Right.

And there's a certain psychological effect that has, because it's almost as if I'm trying to suggest it may be me or there may be other factors involved, right?

And it's pretty interesting.

In the Quran, you find sometimes a switch between the active and the passive.

We're going to see a verb that occurs in the active form,

and then we're going to see it in the passive form.

Let me say that in plain English then.

They called someone a liar.

They called Nooh a liar.
