We're talking today about Biodismorphia.

So what is your expertise and background in this field?

Okay, so the credential is just, you know, so they're straight.

I'm a licensed mental health counselor in New York

state and I also have a national certification as a certified psycho analyst so

technically I don't have a license in psychoanalysis in New York State, but around the country I could be known as a certified analyst, technically.

So you specialize in this issue?

Yeah, well, I like to say that I have an affinity for it. Okay.

The body has a lot of complex features to it, you know, how we organize ourselves around our bodies is a major part.

It's pretty much a third of how we interact with ourselves in the world.

You know, you have the pathway of least resistance.

That could include the body, mind, and emotions.

Sure.

So my, I guess, affinity for it is that I don't even know how to explain exactly because it's just something that I naturally enjoy talking about with people so when they come it's just a part of their

process.
