I don't know if that was a long weekend for some people.

Holiday for the Americans.

Fourth of July.

Did you have fun?

I had a great, great little break, and I'm back to talk about Amanda Knox versus Hollywood.

Now, in 2021, Matt Damon was in a movie called Stillwater,

which was very loosely based on the murder of Meredith Kircher.

Matt Damon plays a dad who wants to get his daughter out of French prison for murder for murdering her lesbian lover.

That's my understanding.

And what I've been told is that at the end, you find out that she really did it.

So obviously, this bothered Amanda.

Now, to refresh, Amanda Knox was let go by the Supreme Court of Italy after they threw out all the DNA evidence.

And there was a lot of pressure on America to do this.

And just to give you an idea of some of the news stories that we saw at the time,

here's one, Amanda Knox update, Hillary Clinton will meet with those, quote, concerned, unquote, about case.

There's another.

This is about Hillary Clinton.

We'll meet with a supporter of Amanda Knox, who was a senator.
