Hey everybody and welcome back to another episode of Short Stories for Kids.

I hope you guys are doing really well and have smiles on your faces because we are about

to read another story.

And today we have a very special birthday shout out to Amaya.

And Amaya is going to be five years old on the 21st of May and this is a very special

birthday story for her and she loves unicorns and mermaids.

So we've come up with a great story for Amaya.

So happy birthday Amaya and we hope that you love this story as much as we do.

Okay, let's go.

This was a little girl named Amaya who was nearly five years old.

She was trying to get to sleep in her bed but for some reason she felt wide awake even

though it was very late.

Just as she was about to drift off to sleep she heard a noise in her room.

It sounded like a breaking wave at the beach.

She sat upright in her bed and listened hard.

There it was again.

A great, whooshing sound like the sea and it seemed to be getting louder.

Now she could hear something different, seagulls and the wind.

And she could even smell the sea air.

It seemed to be coming from the wardrobe.

She climbed out of bed and slowly walked towards the noise.

It got louder and louder and when she opened the wardrobe door she could see golden sand,
