Ask Me Anything Number Two. I'm taping this on the last day of 2018. This will not be the first

episode of science salon of 2019. Tomorrow we're releasing my

How the World's Deadliest Countries countries can forge a path to security.

Very interesting, something of a follow-up to Pinker's Better Angels of Our Nature, that

is to say there's still violence in the world why is that

in these certain countries what are the conditions it takes to create a savage

order as it were I'll then be talking to Bruce Schner, who is the author of Data Angoliet. He is a internet

security expert and his new book is click here to kill everybody. Security and survival in a

hyper connected world. This guy he scared the bejibers out of me showing how somebody could take over my car and drive it right into a wall and pretty much anything anybody wants to do with our banking and the electric grid and so on.

It's pretty scary stuff.

Sometime this spring I'll be doing either a live event with or a podcast with Mark Moffitt.

His new book is The Human Swarm, How Our Societies Arise, Thrive and Fall.

This is interesting because Mark is an ant expert like E.

Wilson, who he trained under. He's also a professional photographer for National Geographic.

He's been all over the world and he studies social animals,

starting with social insects, to social mammals, obviously, and us.
