Of course we got Patrick Regazzo from Metzmorized on here as one of our regulars and we got Jim Callis of an MLB pipeline. He is an absolute prospect guru. He knows these prospects that were going or talked about in all of these trades today. Although I shouldn't say all these trades to say the limited amount of trades today as this trade deadline is got to be one of the worst I've ever seen. It was an absolute disappointment all around.

I mean, unless you're a Houston National fan right now, you've got to be feeling feeling you've got to be wondering what happened.

Jim how's it going? Thanks for coming on with us to recap the dot of the deadline that we had today.

Yeah, it was pretty cool.

I mean, outside the big kind of Grincky deal at the buzzer,

it was kind of a, not a lot of major moves happening today

I know I was looking at Twitter all day

Being at work. I couldn't have access to any TV shows, but I have my Twitter on while I'm recording a jury selection.

So I'm listening, I have my ears to the jury selection and I'm listening, have my ear to the jury selection and I'm watching for trades and nothing's happening, nothing's happening, nothing's happening, nothing's happening.

It's almost like, okay, is this thing working? I kept refreshing and I'm seeing like just like the

absolute no trades trades of any consequence and so of course the Grinky deal which

caught me by surprise.

Now my thing with the Grinky deal, huge trade, huge pickup for the Houston Astros and

clearly makes them the clear cut favorite to winning another title

that what would be their second in three years.

The Mets were in a lot of contact with the Astros people and were asking for Kyle Tucker in exchange for Wheeler.

And somehow the Astros were able to get a more proven pitcher in Zach Rinky for much, much less.

Jim, what's your take on that?

What was the, you know, how were the Astros able to pull off this trade?

Well, I think the big thing for the dime backs was as talented as that Granky is, he costs a ton of money and I think they're trying to get rid of the contract.

I know they're still picking a part of that contract, but I think that was a big part of it and by being

willing to take on the contract like the Astros were, the majority of the contract, they didn't
