Well, it's June. You know, it's June. You know, it's allow me to be frank and you know what June usually means.

Horror, suffering, agony, the Mets.

Frank, certainly in the Mickey Callaway era from 2018 to 2019, the Mets were the worst team in baseball in June and pretty much sunk their season both years.

And I tell you, yesterday's loss certainly gave me those feelings.

Yeah, well, I was lucky enough. I guess you stayed up last night. You were not you were in between

sleep shifts, but I actually went to bed right before Edwin Diaz came in. You know, I was like, you know what, I'm just going to go to sleep.

Hopefully he saves it and, you know, sure enough I woke up and I see Mets snap five.

And Diaz basically gave up soft contact he gave up uh he gave up the the single that was

the booted into an hour was it was a run I I still don't know was the run

actually earned yesterday I believe the run was

unearned because the Billy McKinney error because he doesn't get in scoring position

he gets in scoring position because the error and then the single knocked them in

so it would have been probably first the second,

first and third if it wasn't for the McKinney error and maybe Diaz you know buckles

down and gets out of it who knows. I mean they actually called it an unrun.

They did call it an unrun.

Okay well I mean even still it was you know Diaz he gave up the lead

but he did not blow it afterwards like they stayed tied they went to extras and James McCann who's just been lighting the world on fire over the past week at the plate. He knocked in the go ahead run.

And then Trevor May comes in, which we're about to get
