I came across something on a YouTube channel called Dish Decoded, which I'd never seen before.

And it was entitled Ten Foods Houston Invented.

As you're going to hear, they're not all invented here necessarily,

but the Houston version of it is unique to Houston.

Don't worry about that.

It starts with most people think of Houston and they think oil, NASA, maybe a football team that

breaks your heart, but here's what they don't tell you. Houston is the most diverse city in America, no zoning loss, sitting at the crossroads

space.

When you cram that many cultures and that much hunger into one city and then take the rules

away, something happens.
