So I was sent a story out of Odessa.

Turns out it'll affect everyone equally across the state.

A new state law, we just learned the reason behind the state law, which is usually, it's usually well-intentioned.

There's a little bitty problem.

So somebody had a food truck in one county

and needed to get it inspected in the other county because the home county didn't have an

inspection center. So they had to go across there. Now they needed two county inspections and it

was a hassle. So they go to the state legislature for what is clearly a local issue.

And this happens often.

Hey, state legislature, make a state law to countervene to supersede the local authority,

which is where you have more staffing and more, you can have reasonableness

because somebody's closer to the same, make a state law that applies to help this one

person who came to you that makes life more difficult for everybody across the state.

And the state rep says, oh, I'll have a brochure that says I did something.

Yeah, I'll do that.

So they get it on calendars.

They trade a deal.
