There is a major. There is a major Supreme Court room that came out striking down the race-based gerrymandered districts of Louisiana.

This coming one day after the ruling

that the legislature's redistricting in Texas

was within the authority of the state legislature and that they had done so with,

I use a non-legal term, intentions that weren't unacceptable.

It was said, this is the Texas case we're talking about,

it was said by Jerry Smith about his fellow conservative judge,

Jeff Brown, a Trump nominee, Jeff Brown long time Houston resident.

I never met anybody in my life that didn't like Jeff Brown that knew him.

I never met anyone who didn't like Jeff Brown, period.

Not a bombastic guy, not a real loud guy.

There were 30 of us that ran together in the late 90s, early 2000s, and we were part of a group we called the R Club.

And some of those guys went on to be, quite a few of them went on to be judges.

Ted Cruz was part of the group.

He would be Solicitor General shortly after this period of time.

Jeff Brown was in that group.

And I think most people would say of the group probably the nicest guy in the group
