Ken Paxton was first in the race. Wesley Hunt joined thereafter. Ken Paxton head-to-head beats John Cornyn in every poll I've seen and in my gut.

We know that to be the case. Despite the fact that they impeached him in the house, despite the fact that they have done everything they possibly can, they've tried to bring criminal charges against him. They impeached him in the house. They have trashed him. And it's a, it's a set group of people. And by the way, if you look at the money behind it, it's all the people who supported Nikki Haley against Trump. They hate Trump. Trump loves Ken Paxton. They don't want Ken Paxton in the United States Senate because he would be the turd in the punchbowl for their party of self-dealing.

And that's the fact.

But Paxton leads right now, despite everything they've thrown at him, he leads, much like Trump in 2016, or for that matter, Trump in 2024.

I said to you when Wesley got in the race that him getting in the race, when people thought you were going to attack him, I said,

He's going to draw votes away from Cornyn.

He's going to hurt Cornyn, and it's going to mean that Cornyn's going to attack him instead of Paxton.
