There was an internal discussion because we love Eastbound and down and smoking the bandit.

And a quick history of Daryl Kunda, the newest addition to our team, although he's been with us now for how long, year and a half? Still feels like he hasn't been here for very long. He's still on probation. We haven't even given him a title yet. He's the only one on the team doesn't have a title. We don't want to rush things, you know, in case we have to let him go. So, but we worked with Kunda at Iheart and before that Clear Channel when they changed the name.

Everybody knew Kunda as a voice guy.

You've heard Kunda's voice on the air.

You just didn't know it was him over the years.

And occasionally we would work him into voices when Mike Bobian, who was director of production, would be making a bit for us.

So I would write it.

Bobian would put it together and he would grab people in the halls for voices.

And Kunda was the professional voice guy of the company.

So if it wasn't a live endorsement and somebody was doing, you know, come down to Smith's nursery this Sunday, and that was Kunda's voice. But when you saw Kunda in the hallway, because he had produced the Astros for

decades, he and Milo Hamilton got to be very close. And Milo Hamilton became a caricature, because

you'd heard that voice so many times

over the years. And if you ever saw Kunda in the hallway, he'd say, hello, Polly. And then he'd duck into

his studio. And he swears that's not true, but it is true. Nobody ever had a conversation with Kunda

other than, hello, pali, because that's how Milo Hamilton would greet you. So Jim, we always want Kunda other than hello, pali, because that's how Milo Hamilton would greet you.

So Jim, we were, we always want Kunda, like we get together just, you know, end of year celebration or whatever.
