Washington, D.C. primary, held over the weekend.

I've lived in D.C. and I will tell you nobody lives in DC unless they are part of the

swamp. The District of Columbia is a relatively small tract of

land and there are two types of people who live there, three types of people who live there.

One is blacks who live almost exclusively in the black area.

Howard University, very high crime area,

think Marion Berry supporter. The second is the staffer who doesn't make that much

money by DC standards. Nobody makes less than 50. A lot of them start at 75. But that person often doesn't

have a car. There's a great transit system there.

And the reason is, because the federal government

has invested in their own little transit toy.

Communities around the country who have thought that they would do,

you know, oh, we'll go to the red line out to Sugar Land and the orange line out to the woodlands and the yellow line down to League City.

That's not how that works. It's a very tight little network, very small piece of land

and that was done for Congress by Congress using your money.

So you can live in DC I did without a vehicle and most staffers that's what they do because there's nowhere to

park and there's really good public transportation I think it's probably

the best public transportation in America. I think it probably is. And if

you're going to say the New York subway because you had a good time going

please don't. I think it is the best public transportation and most heavily used per capita of any

public transportation system in the country. It's a great rail system and everybody

knows all right that's Judiciary Square, that's everybody
