It feels like things like that don't get talked about any longer.

And he mentioned some of the greats from the past.

And I know it's common to think, well, things are not as good as it used to be.

But let's talk about living in Houston, Texas in 2023,

versus living in Houston, Texas, versus 1980, for instance.

Your newspaper environment is going from three major newspapers.

The Houston press, the Houston Chronicle, and the Houston Post.

And before the Houston press that was thrown on Thursday, which actually enjoyed,

which was kind of arts and music and that sort of stuff,

there was a Houston press that was a traditional newspaper.

You had three newspapers competing against each other.

You know what that does to a newspaper environment?

You can't just rip and read, you can't just pull it off the press releases.

You've got to have rich storytelling that is compelling,

that makes people read it and hand it to someone else to read and talk about it.
