I knew I knew it, it was on tip of my tongue, I just couldn't remember exactly what it was.

So, yesterday, a post appeared that has the political world in Austin and across Texas quite a buzz.

When Ken Paxton was facing impeachment,

and there was an impeachment trial in the Senate,

which is where that is tried,

with the lieutenant governor presiding,

it was doubly awkward that his wife, Angela, is a state senator,

in the seat he once held.

Awkward, I say, because you're trying to impeach her husband, but also awkward because just as with the

PDD or Sean Puffy Combs or whatever you want to call him trial, many of the things that get

thrown out there are intended to embarrass but don't have a legal aspect.

Often the public doesn't understand that.
